Welcome and thank you for visiting Relationships with Purpose online. Our overall purpose is to support the lives of unhoused and newly rehomed individuals and families (aka homeless, unsheltered communities), often encountering diverse experiences, including mental challenges and traumas. Relationships with Purpose honors the notion that as humans, we are interdependent and hold different strengths and needs throughout our life spans.

 

We believe that homelessness is a pandemic that can be significantly reduced, and ultimately ended, through honest and direct exploration of its complex causes. We believe that collaboration/teamwork strengthens available resources, helps with the creation of relevant needed ones, and fosters effective delivery of services.

Relationships with Purpose honors servicing and being in communion / networking with diverse populations. We, (Board Members, volunteers, personnel, anyone welcomed as an affiliate) stand for inclusion of all forms of diversity and in opposition to any form of discrimination. This includes discrimination based on: age; disability; sexual orientation; gender / gender identity; status as a parent; religious practices; national origin; pregnancy; race / ethnicity. We believe that through our human uniqueness and interdependence, we, as a people, can learn, grow, and create a harmonious world.

We hope that our website clearly highlights our intention, range of services, as well as opportunities for becoming involved. As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit multi-service organization, we are committed to working closely with other human services programs while fostering empowering relationships with and for our unhoused and newly rehomed relatives.
